FAQ

The short answers. The privacy policy has the long ones.

Your chats

When does Wing read my chats?

Only when you ask, or when you start a reply if you turn that on. The screen is read on your device: through macOS Accessibility on Mac, only while live mode runs on iPhone, when you tap the bubble on Android.

Does Wing ever send anything for me?

Never. Wing puts words in the box. It never types into, sends from or automates another app. Every word goes out with your thumb.

What does Wing keep?

A short note about each person, not the chat. The other person’s messages are deleted within 24 hours. The note stays until you delete it.

Are my chats sold, or used for training?

No. Your chats are used only to write your result. No ads, no selling, no training on your chats. The privacy policy names every company that processes data for Wing.

How do I delete everything?

From Account in the app: export or erase it all, any time. Deletion is immediate, and asks you to have signed in within the last ten minutes.

Plans

What is an ask, and what is a read?

An ask is one time Wing helps you, however many replies come back. A read is Wing reading one chat into five replies. Reads Wing does on its own never count.

What do the plans include?

Free: 15 asks with Wing. Pro: $20 a month or $200 a year, unlimited talk and voice, 150 reads a month. Max: $100 a month or $1,000 a year, unlimited talk and voice, 1,000 reads a month and call mode. Unlimited means fair use.

Does my plan follow me to other devices?

Yes. Pay on the web or in the app, sign in with the same account, and your plan is there on every device.
